Relentless

Euphoria, a feeling or state of intense excitement and happiness.

We learned and discerned so much from the GLS2008.  The handout suggests that we "go beyond the summit" and increase our leadership level.  When we get better, everyone around us gets better.

Feel free to blog in your insights and anything that has developed in you, your thoughts, from what we learned.

Let us be relentless for His purpose.

Pastor Edwin,

Indeed, GLS has recalibrated my internal compass to direct my bearing to True North. GLS has recharged my passion to lead.

A truly amazing experience! It was the "IT" for me!

We have learned a lot from this seminar, hopefully, God willing, we can bring our wives in GLS'09 so they can share our experience and be one with us in leading and empowering people for God!

Brethren,

In Basketball, there is a starter and a substitute. A starter plays first in every game while a substitute comes in irregularly. For me, I came to GLS as a substitute but I came out as a starter. God made me realize what I've been missing for quite sometime. It strengthen my passion to be a different maker. It taught me many lessons in leadership. Craig Groeschel's teaching was an eye opener. His testimony was an inspiration. Bill George's "FINDING YOUR TRUE NORTH" was a real different maker that all leaders must understand and put into practice. Catherine Rohr on the other hand was an example to follow while Bill Hybels' research on Mother Teresa was exceptional. I was my first time to attend GLS and I agree with what BM said, that God willing, next year we can bring in our wives so they too may share in our experience and be all the more one with us.

Blessings,

PK

Do you still remember Bill's axioms?

These axioms hit me the hardest:
"When something feels funky, engage"
Our natural reaction is to try to avoid things we don't like or unusual things happening, but we were told to engage it, because it will not go away un-attended.

"Take a calculated risk"
We need to challenge people to do big things (big sacrifices)

"This is Church"
Get involve in people's lives, to care and love, because this is Church
